There is a sweet spot in every manufacturer’s range, and the R8 XK7 occupies it for Ravin. What you give up compared with the premium models is mostly refinement, not capability.

The numbers tell the story plainly. The R8 sends a 400-grain arrow downrange at 420 fps, producing 156 foot-pounds of kinetic energy, while the whole bow weighs just 7.55 pounds.
