Ravin Integrated Xero X1i Crossbow Scope
Two companies that dominate their respective accuracy niches, Ravin in crossbows, Garmin in range-verified optics, built one product together, and the Xero X1i is the result. It is a Garmin crossbow scope with a built-in rangefinder, customized exclusively for Ravin, and the setup procedure is almost suspiciously simple: mount the scope, select your Ravin model from the menu, sight in at 20 yards. From there the processor takes over and generates precise digital aim points at whatever distance the built-in rangefinder measures.
The ballistics library is the quiet achievement here. The scope ships preloaded with data for every Ravin model ever made, except the R18, covering the R9, R10, R15, R20, R26, R29, R5X, R10X, R26X, R29X and R500, and a software update adds compatibility for the LR and R470 series. That is the whole catalog handled, which is what “customized exclusively for Ravin” turns out to mean in practice.
The hardware reads like a serious optic. Fixed 3.5x magnification tuned for crossbow distances, a custom colored Ravin reticle, an electronic level sensor that takes cant out of the equation, and built-in angle compensation for shots that are not flat. Reticle brightness responds to an ambient light sensor or can be set manually, which the company specifically highlights for early and late shooting hours, and power comes from two included AAA lithium batteries. The unit weighs 1.9 pounds and measures 6.2 by 2.6 by 3.7 inches, with a 1.2 inch display.
What it removes from your vest is as valuable as what it adds: there is no separate rangefinder to carry, to drop, to fumble with while an animal stands there. One piece of glass answers distance and aim point in the same glance, and per Ravin’s own framing, that fusion is aimed at deadly accuracy and a lighter pack.
SKU R189, with the official page showing a notify-me status during stock gaps, which is the practical price of being the most wanted optic in the range. If your Ravin deserves one upgrade, this is the one that changes how you hunt.
