The R10 Pro takes the recipe that made the R10 the most approachable Ravin and adds the two upgrades practical shooters actually notice: more speed at the top end, and a full-length Picatinny rail that cleans up the shot cycle. Ravin’s own engineering note on the platform is worth paraphrasing: the extended rail minimizes lost energy and removes unnecessary movement during the shot, which translates to a more stable platform and cleaner, repeatable downrange accuracy. It is a small mechanical detail that shows up on paper at every distance.

Performance lands at 420 feet per second with a 400-grain arrow and 156 foot-pounds of kinetic energy, inside familiar dimensions: 32.5 inches long, 6.5 inches wide cocked opening to 10.5 at rest, and 7.4 pounds of carrying weight. Cocking effort remains the family-standard 12 pounds through the Versa-Draw system, ambidextrous and fully integrated, capable of safely un-cocking the bow as well.

As with every XK7 trim, the finish is Kings’ seven-shape camouflage, and the scope is the 100-yard illuminated model with Speed Lock. The locking ring matters more than it sounds: once your fps adjustment is dialed, it stays put through bumps, branch drag and truck rides, so the setting you verified in September is still the setting in November. Reticle aim points from 20 to 100 yards, red and green illumination, fully coated lenses, fog, shock, recoil and waterproof housing.
